General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio-Drake) recently expressed her excitement on social media since she’s got something big in the works.

The former GH star shared a post on Instagram and brought fans in the loop on what she’s working on.
It turns out McCullough is serving as a co-producer on the Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion sequel.
The 1997 cult-classic comedy is getting a follow-up film, which will bring back Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino in their respective roles.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie has already started filming with Tim Federle as the director.
Kimberly McCullough is thrilled to be teaming up with Federle again since they previously collaborated on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
McCullough definitely seems pumped about working together once more based on her Instagram post.
Let’s look at what McCullough had to say about this new project.
“Congratulations @timfederle!!! Honored and excited to be by your side once again creating something truly special,” McCullough said.
McCullough also included a personal story that related to the loss of her beloved dog.
The ex-Robin Scorpio-Drake actress has a special connection to the song Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper, which ties the first film to her sweet pup in an intriguing way.
“It’s also not lost on me that the song Romy and Michele dance to in the original is my song for Jack.
I can’t help but think he might be behind the scenes doing a little bit of his magic,” McCullough said.
In the comments, Kimberly McCullough got supportive messages from Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Jason Thompson (ex-Patrick Drake on GH, currently playing Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless) and more.
It’s clear that everyone’s thrilled for McCullough no matter where her career might take her.
Of course, there are always going to be fans that hold out hope for McCullough’s eventual return as Robin Scorpio-Drake, but it’s nice to see her thriving with other endeavors following her behind-the-camera transition.
McCullough is part of the GH family for life, so viewers will forever celebrate her success!
As for the Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion sequel, it doesn’t have a title or release date just yet, but it’s set to air on Hulu as one of their original movies down the road.
