Josslyn’s desperate ambush of Cassius sends shockwaves through Wyndemere as chaos erupts behind locked doors and hidden agendas spiral out of control.
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will ambush Cassius Faison a.k.a. “Fake Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) in an attempt to escape her predicament – so let’s unpack what happens next in this cray-cray storyline.
The ABC soap released its preview for the week of May 18-22, and a scene is shown where Josslyn finds a message from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
As she moves her bed in her cell at Wyndemere, she sees some writing on the wall that says, ‘Anna Devane was held captive here. I was taken on 10.31.25.’
Seeing the message may completely freak out Joss. After all, Anna went missing and was then found in Paris after having a complete mental health meltdown.
Anna is now in a mental facility in France, with all her loved ones worried about her.
As the weekly video promo progresses, Josslyn makes a vow to get out of her situation, and then a clip shows Cassius walking into her cell’s bedroom, as Josslyn whacks him with a chair.
Cassius has underestimated Josslyn from the get-go.
While he came to learn that Joss was more than a ‘ditzy sorority girl’, and that she was actually a WSB agent, it was super foolish for him to attack her unexpectedly in her home and secretly place her in the tunnels at Spoon Island.
His bosses, WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), are unaware that Cassius is holding Joss hostage, and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is not in the loop either.
It is only a matter of time before someone figures out that Josslyn is missing, or someone at Wyndemere spots her in her prison cell.
It’s uncertain what Cassius’s endgame was where Josslyn is concerned; however, it looks like his plan will come to a screeching halt during the week of May 18.
While Joss has the element of surprise, will she escape, or will this scheme end up backfiring on her?
As fans recall, Anna, too, attempted to get out of her cell prison when Pascal (Mark Forget) was in charge of her hostage situation and failed miserably.
Speaking of, there’s always a chance Sidwell’s creepy butler is nearby when Josslyn knocks Cassius unconscious, so Josslyn’s escape attempt could lander in hotter water than she was in the first place.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that both Cassius and Joss were heading toward a possible partnership last week to bring down Sidwell and Cullum and release ‘Fake Nathan’ from his current circumstances, so will this escape attempt blow that out of the water, too?
